“500mg per capsule” means 500 milligrams of kratom leaf powder inside each capsule, excluding the shell. It does not mean 500mg of mitragynine and it is not a serving recommendation.
Leaf fill, capsule count, and package weight
The fill figure describes one capsule. The count describes the number of capsules in the package. Together they give the stated total leaf fill: count × 500mg.
- 120 capsules = 60g stated leaf fill
- 250 capsules = 125g
- 500 capsules = 250g
- 1,000 capsules = 500g
Why the distinction matters
Plain leaf contains a mixture of naturally occurring compounds. A 500mg leaf-fill statement is a material-weight fact, not a laboratory assay of one alkaloid. Concentrated MIT tablets and extract powder use different product identities and evidence.
