How to Compare Kratom Price per Gram vs Price per Capsule
Loose powder usually costs less for the same weight of kratom leaf; capsules cost more to avoid weighing, mixing and most of the bitter taste. Compare the cost per gram of leaf to see how much you are paying for that convenience.

Two basic price formulas

Round only after completing the division. Rounding the package price or quantity first can distort a close comparison. For large tiers, showing cents to one or two decimal places is usually enough to understand the purchasing difference.
Current loose-powder unit prices
Kratom Paradise botanical powder products currently share four prices: $24.99 for 250g, $39.99 for 500g, $69.99 for 1kg, and $299.99 for 5kg. The calculated prices are approximately 10.0¢, 8.0¢, 7.0¢, and 6.0¢ per gram.
Use price per gram to compare like-for-like powder sizes. Powder products can differ in composition, and unit-price math is a shopping tool rather than guidance on use.
Current standard capsule unit prices
Standard 500mg leaf-powder capsule products currently list 120 for $17.99, 250 for $34.99, 500 for $49.99, and 1,000 for $79.99. Those totals work out to about 15.0¢, 14.0¢, 10.0¢, and 8.0¢ per capsule.
Capsule packs are easiest to compare by price per capsule. The 500mg leaf fill and total grams matter too, but shells, filling, and packaging add costs that loose powder does not have.
Current bulk capsule unit prices
The bulk capsule collection lists 2,500 for $179.99, 5,000 for $329.99, 10,000 for $599.99, and 20,000 for $999.99. The calculated unit prices are about 7.20¢, 6.60¢, 6.00¢, and 5.00¢ per capsule.
Those tiers are assembled from sealed 250-count pouches. A lower unit price comes with a larger order, more pouch units, and more storage and receiving work. Unit math helps expose the price difference; it does not decide whether the larger commitment is appropriate.
Compare the same amount of leaf
Each Kratom Paradise capsule contains 0.5g of plain leaf. A 1,000-count pack therefore contains 500g of leaf, excluding the shells. At $79.99, that is about 16¢ per gram of leaf. A 500g pouch of powder costs $39.99, or about 8¢ per gram.
For that equal leaf weight, powder costs $40 less. With capsules, the extra cost buys a prefilled format with no loose powder to weigh or mix. This compares the price of leaf, not equivalent alkaloid content or effects.
Include shipping and thresholds in the final comparison
Free U.S. shipping applies to eligible orders of $99 or more. Destination, product, and carrier restrictions still apply. An order below that threshold can therefore have a different delivered cost than its package price suggests.
For a complete comparison, record merchandise total, any automatic discount, shipping, tax, and the final quantity. Do not compare one vendor’s pre-shipping package price with another vendor’s delivered total.
Handle sales, bundles, and coupons without distorting the denominator
When a discount applies to several items, allocate the discount before calculating each product’s effective unit price. A simple approach is to divide the final merchandise total by the final included grams or capsule count only when every included item is the same format and product. Mixed-format bundles need separate line-item calculations.
Do not compare a temporary coupon price with a regular package price without recording the coupon, eligibility, and date. Free items also change the denominator only if they are actually included in the completed order. The order confirmation—not a banner or abandoned cart—is the reliable record of what was paid and received.
Keep the math visible
Save six fields: product title, format, pack size, quantity purchased, merchandise amount after line-item discounts, and date checked. Then show the formula beside the result. For example, “$599.99 ÷ 10,000 capsules = $0.059999 per capsule, rounded to 6.00¢.”
A reproducible calculation lets another person update only the changed inputs when a price or pack changes. It also makes obvious when two comparisons use different package sizes, formats, shipping assumptions, or rounding rules.
Powder for price, capsules for convenience
Powder gives you more leaf for the money at the matched retail weight above. Capsules keep preparation simpler. For a familiar capsule product you use regularly, compare the bulk capsule prices before restocking.
